E-INFRA holding includes: Electrogrup, EPC contractor for complex projects in critical infrastructure for energy and renewable energy, construction and telecom projects, Nova Power and Gas active in energy production, energy and gas supply, natural gas distribution and energy and gas trading, Netcity Telecom, a company that develops and operates the metropolitan fiber optic infrastructure in Bucharest, Direct One, the operator of the largest neutral long distance fiber optic network with national coverage, maintenance services and telecom projects and WESEE, offering full installation and maintenance services for wind parks.
At this moment, we are looking for a Commercial Director to join Electrogrup, part of the E-Infra group.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company’s commercial strategy: defining business objectives (project volume, backlog, revenue, profitability, EBITDA, etc.).
- Define the project bidding strategy (as general contractor, partner or subcontractor) in line with the approved business plan.
- Oversee the departments under your responsibility: Sales and Supply Chain.
- Collaborate with Sales Director and Supply Chain Director to identify suppliers/contractors, negotiate and manage material resources, procurement and logistics.
- Plan and monitor procurement and distribution, ensuring alignment with project bids and execution plans.
- Contribute to the annual budgeting process and monitor budget execution; track financial and commercial KPIs (revenue, EBITDA, net profit) for projects and the company.
- Contract and deliver new projects: negotiate and sign contracts; oversee project execution and delivery in line with commercial offers.
- Develop personnel strategy for the commercial department: structure teams, recruit, train, integrate, develop and retain staff.
- Organise, delegate and distribute tasks among subordinates; cascade KPIs and objectives down to operational teams.
- Monitor team performance: regular evaluations, reporting, identifying improvement areas, and proposing corrective actions or development plans.
- Negotiate and manage external relationships: with clients (private, public), beneficiaries, state authorities, suppliers, service/product providers, strategic partners.
- Represent the company externally in dealings with clients, partners and authorities, maintaining the company’s image and credibility.
- Prepare commercial documentation: proposals, business plans, reports, presentations for management, Board, shareholders, etc.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and internal policies — both for subordinate teams and commercial / supply-chain processes.
- Anticipate and manage external changes (legislative, economic, contextual) and adapt commercial strategies to mitigate negative impacts.
- Initiate and implement digitalization and automation initiatives for commercial and logistic processes (CRM, ERP, BI, reporting tools, etc.).
- Supervise daily operations of subordinate teams, ensuring correct application of operational procedures, identifying opportunities, and implementing business and bidding plans.
Qualifications & Requirements
- University degree in economics or engineering.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with CRM platforms or procurement / purchasing systems (ideally with SEAP/SICAP or equivalents).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in similar position (team coordination, sales, supply-chain, logistics, commercial management etc).
- Relevant experience in the construction or energy industry (or similar), with understanding of the industry specifics and competitive environment.
- Advanced English language skills (written and spoken).
